OUR STORY
CROSSPORT has been offering warehousing and logistic solutions to companies from all over Europe since 2016. But our experience dates back much further than that - in the 1980s, the
van Geijn family first established Storage Rent Belgium, which offered warehouse solutions outside the port of Ghent.
In 2016, we combined Storage Rent Belgium’s vast warehousing solutions with the maritime expertise of former RigaNatie and Katoennatie director Joos Melis. This allowed us to expand our logistics services and offer a full logistics solution with both storage and handling.
And so, CROSSPORT was born.
Our location
Our warehouses are located at the heart of one of Europe’s main logistics hubs, literally at the crossroads between the region’s four largest and most important ports: Antwerp, Ghent, Terneuzen and Zeebrugge.
In 2017, CROSSPORT’s location became even more attractive when Antwerp’s MSC-PSA container terminal moved from the right bank of the river Scheldt to the left bank. The port’s left bank is just 20 minutes away from our warehouses, meaning that contractors can quickly and easily move traffic away from the port to an area that offers more flexible solutions.
